Positive Ageing Month is a month-long festival of events and activities for older people in October 2016. Now in its second year, the festival includes activities to suit all tastes - from movies to walks, from chocolate tasting to disco dancing. It celebrates the contribution that older people make to their communities and the city of Belfast.

We are a nation of storytellers and we all love a good story. Stories are how we make senses of the world and learn about each other and indeed find out who we are as individuals. You don’t have to be a reader to join in, just come and listen and let us know your thoughts on the stories we will introduce you to.

There are two open events for older people and one invited group session with a special open intergenerational event on the lead up to Hallowe’en for grandparents and their grandchildren. If you love stories come and join in the conversations.
